Health and Literacy Fair
We believe that for children to receive optimum benefits from educational instruction, they need to be physically and mentally healthy. Our Health and Literacy event is held annually in September. This is a family fun-filled event. Children receive vision and hearing tests/screenings. Community agencies provide resource information and the children participate in fun literacy games.
3
Teen Job Fair
We aspire to decrease juvenile crime by providing opportunities for teenagers to participate in positive and meaningful activities. Local employers and community agencies provide opportunities for teenagers to participate in summer camps and other activities. Students visit with local employers and community agencies. They gain knowledge of the summer and school years options that are available to them.
2
Book Club
The purpose of our elementary book club is to promote reading as a social and fun activity, thereby increasing the amount of time children spend reading.

Children's Book Vending Machine
The Book Vending machine is located at the Montgomery County Juvenile Court. Hundred of families visit the Juvenile Court every year. In response to the governor's campaign for grade level reading, we want to get books in the hands of as many children and families as possible.
